After the public network IP and the website domain name for load balancing are set up, only one public network IP is needed to virtualize multiple web access layer servers into a high-performance and highly available access layer service pool. All public network requests enter through the load balancer, which not only secures but also require less public network IP addresses.
For scenarios with large-scale users access concurrency, such as news portals, load balancing will ensure that users’ requests will be uniformly forwarded to each access layer server. Access layer servers can be hosted by low-cost and consistent virtual machines.
