2014 Forbes China Best CEOs List was announced on July 7th, 2014 by Forbes China, the licensed Chinese-language edition of Forbes. The top three CEOs in the list are Jia Yueting, CEO of Leshi Internet Information and Technology, Liu Chengyan, CEO of ChinaNetCenter, and Tang Hui, CEO of By-Health.
The ranking is based on a company’s financial performance in three years, not a short period of time. ChinaNetCenter, theleading Content Delivery Network (CDN) and internet business platform provider in China, has maintained a rapid financial growth in consecutive years. From 2011 to 2013, the year-on-year growth rates of net profit were up to 42.97%, 89.58% and 128.55% respectively. In 2013, ChinaNetCenter’s total revenue was CNY1.205 billion, the highest of all domestic professional CDN companies, and its net profit reached to CNY 237 million, the best profitability in the domestic CDN industry. And most notable is that only 5 CEOs from the 2013 list were selected again this year. The rest of 45 CEOs, who are mainly from such three major industries as real estate, medical care and bank, are replaced by those who mainly come from industries like internet, medical care and media. Ranking top three among various popular companies whose main businesses are mass-oriented, ChinaNetCenter is sure to let the public begin to recognize its versatility in addition to the impression of “Stock King” at the beginning of this year.
